Jack Weinstein/Percussion/Vocals - Jack grew up in a musical family. His father and his uncle played drums professionally in the Philadelphia area. In high school, Jack played drums in jazz and marching bands. His favorite band at that time was Chicago. He saw Chicago live in concert at The Spectrum in 1977 (Terry Kath's last tour). In the 80's and 90's, Jack was active in music playing drums and percussion in local bands.
From 2008-2019, Jack subbed on drums and percussion for Philadelphia Funk Authority. The experience he received playing weddings and festivals was priceless. Since 2019, Jack has been involved in various music projects including: jazz trios, original music, and classic rock. His percussion influences include: Laudir de Oliveira, Airto, and Santana. Jack is looking forward to performing the great music of Chicago with the talented musicians in C9TB!
